Objectives / Purpose of Job  

  • Achievement of company strategic goals  

  • Successful launch of new consumer products in the ME markets

Key Activities / Responsibilities  

  • Develop and execute strategies to support consumers from decision to adherence, aligning with brand goals.  

  • Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns that serve preidentified consumer groups and patient advocacy initiatives.  

  • Lead DTC pre-launch and launch strategies, ensuring alignment with short- and long-term objectives 

  • Design and execute cross-channel media campaigns, including digital, traditional, and social media. 

  • Drive e-commerce and SEO marketing across digital platforms and retail outlets. 

  • Manage retail and trade marketing initiatives, including in-store activations and promotions. 

  • Draft and execute creative briefs and direct campaign creatives shoots and post edits. 

  • Managing content creation and calendars with agencies and in-house.  

  • Carry over through well sought strategy a transition from Rx to consumer in some products and therapeutic areas. 

  • Manage Consumer product portfolio in the Middle East, ensuring strong performance and lifecycle management.  

  • Analyze market trends, performance indicators, and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners for effective marketing campaigns.  

  • Oversee marketing budgets, track ROI, and ensure compliance with brand standards.  

  • Monitor digital and traditional media trends and manage commercial presence at relevant events.  

  • Drive brand growth by identifying new opportunities and maximizing the portfolio’s potential.  

  • Plan and execute pre-launch and launch initiatives from ideation through analysis to execution, achieving all defined objectives and aligning with short- and long-term strategic goals for the brand and business unit.  

  • Manage and promote the designated product portfolio in the Middle East region, ensuring strong performance, brand consistency, and effective lifecycle management.  

  • Utilize multiple data sources to understand the market, identify gaps, and formulate strategic plans.  

  • Collaborate with external agencies and internal cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Advocacy, IT, Legal, Market Research, etc.).  

  • Participate in key marketing initiatives such as meetings, budgets, trainings, and conferences.  

  • Stay up to date with digital and traditional media trends in the health and pharma space.  

  • Coordinate with sales and training teams to ensure successful implementation of marketing programs.  

  • Ensure compliance, effectiveness, and brand alignment of all marketing materials.  

  • Track and manage detailed marketing and promotional budgets.  

  • Maximize the portfolio’s potential and continuously explore new opportunities for growth.  

  • Collaborate with regional partners to strengthen company positioning and value in the ME region.  

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies for both healthcare and non-healthcare products.  

  • Oversee the creation and launch of new marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence.  

  • Collaborate with agencies on consumer branding, packaging, and promotional materials.  

  • Conduct marketing analysis on consumer behavior, campaign ROI, media metrics, and market trends.  

  • Develop strategic plans for pricing, distribution, communication, and promotions across all platforms.  

  • Partner with sales, trade, and e-commerce teams to align demand generation with field execution.  

  • Monitor competitive strategies and identify new market opportunities.  

  • Utilize data and insights to refine brand messaging and marketing strategies.

Qualifications / Training  

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Pharmacy/life sciences preferred); PharmD, PhD, or MBA a plus  

 

Competencies:  

  • Pharma/consumer health expertise  

  • Designing & executing media plans 

  • E-commerce expertise 

  • Leadership, marketing, and analytical skills  

  • Cross-functional collaboration  

  • Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

 

Experience  

  • 5+ years in Consumer product management in pharma, biotech, or consumer, nutrition or cosmeceuticals managing the foremost requirements of the position. 

  • Extensive experience in direct-to-consumer marketing is a key requirement for this role.
